Pritchard Consulting Limited, (PCL) was founded in 1991 specialising in the development of applications for City based financial institutions.
Now PCL works in close partnership with clients to understand their business and the pressure they face before helping to identify solutions to the business problems. As a project partner PCL manage the business change lifecycle from design to implementation, driving change success, minimising risk and ensuring return on investment.
The company specialises in the development and implementation of CRM solutions within Financial Services, in mapping and implementing business process automation to integrate both new and established solutions and the design and delivery of management information reporting.
In 2004 the PCL team expanded to create PTLGateway, a hosted and managed services company focused on Windows and Citrix Application delivery services to work with companies looking to implement the Pivotal CRM application using a new Microsoft Saas based licensing model.
The Product
The Pivotal Finance System was initially conceived back in 1997. Following research into the then available options for supporting mortgage broking businesses. It was found that the market was lacking in a creditable sales automation software application for Financial Services in the mid to enterprise arena.
Enter Pivotal eRelationship. A product in part supported by Microsoft and a Canadian software team who created Pivotal, a highly customisable development platform specifically aimed at the emerging Customer Relationship Management, (CRM) market space.
The PCL team took the out-of-the box eRelationship CRM platform with its underlying structured sales methodology and created what became a fully integrated Lead, Opportunity, Case Administration and Financial reporting application for Mortgage and Protection Sales.
Deployed as a 2 Tier client/server solution on Microsoft SQL Server PivotalFS was one of the first fully 32bit Microsoft Windows client CRM solutions for Financial Services.
